Barbara Gordon: fille adoptive du commissaire Gordon, mais avant de devenir Batgirl, elle voulait devenir une agent du FBI ou une policière de la ville de Gotham. Les scénaristes Dixon et Beatty s’en sortent à merveille en respectant totalement ce qui a été fait depuis vingt ans dans les séries Batman, et le Crush de ROBIN pour Barbara, la personnalité forte de celle-ci et le côté noir, introspectif et insensible du Batman. Ils utilisent en plus deux vilains de seconde zone, Fireаly et Killer Moth, ce qui limite largement les risques en terme de retcon et leur donnent en bonus une véritable personnalité.
